To Our Friends of Freedom’s Door

“The Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity.” Proverbs 2: 6-7

These are the words of King Solomon, the son of King David, two wise and powerful men who lived one thousand years before the coming of Jesus Christ. Their writings and teachings are filled with common sense and are contained within the most published and read book of all centuries. Clearly wisdom, knowledge, understanding and common sense have been sought by humans for thousands of years. We seek this wisdom and these qualities today at Freedom’s Door.

This is sometimes difficult, as it was for David and Solomon. In their time, wars, strife between people, ill
health and poor medical service, homelessness and poverty were commonplace. All these difficulties are still encountered in our world and community today and finding solutions is not easy.
